Jean-Pierre and Annick Grange have been the resort's historic sports store for nearly 60 years. They have been committed to developing the ski rental business and the sale of clothing and accessories, with a focus on quality and a high level of service and welcome. The place has become a real place of passage and meeting, where one celebrates the passion of skiing with the sporting exploits of their son Jean-Baptiste.
In 2021, Jean-Baptiste and Martin took over the store with the desire to continue the tradition of hospitality established by its founders.
Jean-Baptiste Grange is a double world champion skier and winner of the crystal globe for the best slalom skier on the world cup circuit. A local child, he grew up on the slopes of Valloire and within the walls of the family store! After his career which saw him win on the mythical slopes of the world cup circuit, he took over the store, accompanied by Martin Francou, his brother-in-law, ski instructor, former telemarketer of the French team and traileur. Both passionate about mountains and sports, they have at heart with their team to share their passion, their good plans for a successful stay in Valloire.
At Grange Sport, the sport in mountain and the slide has value of tradition and is transmitted from generation to generation. Having grown up on the slopes of Valloire, the family has always known how to exploit the richness of this natural playground and the various activities it offers: alpine skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, cross-country skiing, sledging, snowshoeing, and in the summer cycling or mountain biking on the Galibier, walking, running, climbing or via ferrata...
